To enable Dr Baetz and his team to provide you with the highest level of care, your first appointment is the most important.
Dr Baetz will take the time to understand your needs and desired results. He will listen to and answer any concerns you may have relating to any aspect of dentistry, our practice, or your treatment.
He will then thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, jaw joints and oral tissues. As part of your initial examination, x-rays will almost certainly be required. Photographic records are often taken. Quite often models of your mouth and other tests may need to be made, and this may necessitate another appointment. You will of course be given quotations for all necessary diagnostic records required. These records will help Dr Baetz to make appropriate diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Dr Baetz will clearly explain the problems and possible treatments required once he has had a chance to examine the data obtained. Usually this discussion will take place at a separate appointment. The possible treatments will be discussed with you in detail. The final treatment plan is developed with your input, and is tailored to your personal requirements.
At or before your first visit, you will be asked to complete a medical and dental health questionnaire. This information is held in the strictest of confidence and will be used to assist us in diagnosis and treatment planning, and will help to ensure your safety.
You can, if you wish, download this questionnaire from this website and fill it out in the comfort of your own home and bring it with you to your appointment.
